Thetford Men’s Shed is a safe, fun and inspiring place where men are always welcome, they can socialise, make new friends, relax and learn new skills, all accompanied with lots of tea and biscuits. At our Shed, friendships are formed, we have helped men to feel less isolated and lonely and our Members tell us that we have given them a new lease of life.
At this present time, as well as consuming tea and biscuits we run a Bike Shed where men repair and recycle bikes to be sold to the community at affordable prices. We also have a Wood Shed, where me make garden planters, bird boxes and wildlife havens for the garden. If Bikes and Wood aren’t for you, then we are always looking for new ideas and projects and you are always welcome to drop in for a chat and a brew.
Join us on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10am to 4pm and every second Friday from 10am to 4pm. Friday sessions will be

We meet at the Keystone Enterprise Factory, 39 Brunel Way, Thetford IP24 1HP.
You will be guaranteed a warm welcome & the kettle is always on.
We are members of the UK Men’s Shed Association.
A number of years ago we ran a very successful allotment. At the time we didn’t know much about growing vegetables but worked on the basis that everything has two chances, the photos say the rest.
Future plans for the Shed would hope to include creating a Wood Shed, Gardening Club or other activities depending on the interests of the Shedders.
