Thetford Men’s Shed is a safe, fun and inspiring place where men are always welcome, they can socialise, make new friends, relax and learn new skills, all accompanied with lots of tea and biscuits. At our Shed, friendships are formed, we have helped men to feel less isolated and lonely and our Members tell us that we have given them a new lease of life.
We are members of the UK Men’s Shed Association.
At this present time, as well as consuming tea and biscuits we run a Bike Shed where men repair and recycle bikes to be sold to the community at affordable prices. Don’t worry if you don’t know about bikes as we will teach you, and if bikes aren’t your thing you can still sit, chat and make new friends.
Join us on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 1pm to 4.00pm at the Keystone Enterprise Factory, 39 Brunel Way, Thetford IP24 1HP.
You will be guaranteed a warm welcome & the kettle is always on.
A number of years ago we ran a very successful allotment. At the time we didn’t know much about growing vegetables but worked on the basis that everything has two chances, the photos say the rest.
Future plans for the Shed would hope to include creating a Wood Shed, Gardening Club or other activities depending on the interests of the Shedders.
