The Brandon Centre is a community hub located just behind the town’s market square, in the heart of the community.
Within the Brandon Centre, the public can find tenanted services which include the Family Hub, Library, Safer Neighbourhood Team and a preschool playgroup. The building itself is owned by Suffolk County Council and managed on their behalf by Keystone Development Trust.
Keystone’s role is to coordinate the shared use of the facilities in the building and to recruit and develop a team of volunteers to support both tenants and visitors. There are two meeting rooms at the Brandon Centre, one can accommodate up to eight people and another which can accommodate up to four people each room may be hired for £4.00 per hour. Citizens Advice, Live Well Suffolk and Realise Futures are just a few of the organisations who have launched initiatives or delivered services from the Brandon Centre since 2013.
