About St John's Community Centre

St John’s Community Centre was built for the families and communities of Mildenhall and opened in March 2015.

This modern, secure building is located in the heart of the Great Heath/St John’s Estate of Mildenhall, benefitting from a convenient location with neighbouring shop and post office, car park with 25 spaces, and nearby play and skate parks for children.

The Centre has a Main Hall, Kitchen and two meeting rooms – the Youth Room and Multipurpose Room – and plenty of garden space to relax or picnic in.

Affordable hire space can be rented out to private individuals, charities, statutory bodies, businesses etc. and start-up discounts are available for community groups.

The building also hosts a food pantry and is the office of BME Suffolk Support Group’s West Suffolk Branch. BME SSG can help local residents with food parcels or financial advice and support. Contact them on 07878 833232 or 07492 691190.

Keystone also organises and runs its own events and projects at the Centre – follow its Facebook page or this website’s News page to keep up to date with the latest news.

For Room Hire Private Residents (parties etc.) Private Functions continuing after 9pm require a second Caretaker, there will be an extra charge of £25.00 per hour for the Main Hall after this time.
