The Brandon Centre is a community hub located just behind the town’s market square, in the heart of the community.
Within the Brandon Centre, the public can find tenanted services which include the Children’s Centre, Library, Safer Neighbourhood Team and a preschool playgroup. The building itself is owned by Suffolk County Council and managed on their behalf by Keystone Development Trust.
Keystone’s role is to coordinate the shared use of the facilities in the building and to recruit and develop a team of volunteers to support both tenants and visitors. There are two small meeting rooms at the Brandon Centre which may be hired for £2.50 per hour. Citizens Advice, Live Well Suffolk and Realise Futures are just a few of the organisations who have launched initiatives or delivered services from the Brandon Centre in the past six and a half years since opening to the public.
