Abbey Neighbourhood Centre

About Abbey Neighbourhood Centre

The Abbey Neighbourhood Centre is a refurbished community building in the centre of the Abbey neighbourhood in Thetford.

Having been closed for a number of years, the building was refurbished by Breckland Council who wished to hand the building to the local community. With the support of the Friends of the Abbey Neighbourhood Centre, Keystone took over ownership of the building in 2005 and since then. have used the Centre to deliver projects and activities to the local community, as well as making it available for hire by other organisations and residents.

Rick’s Kitchen is a new addition to the Centre, offering volunteering opportunities to provide a varied menu at affordable prices.
