Welcome to Keystone Green Ventures

Green Ventures is a social enterprise run by Keystone Development Trust.  Green ventures consists of two projects one relating to furniture recycling the other to bicycle recycling.  The furniture project operates out of a shop unit at 53/54 York Way opening Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.  The bicycle project will open in January 2010 and operate from 39 Brunel Way and have an outlet in the furniture shop on the Abbey Estate.

The furniture recycling project started in 2005 and was funded by CRED through to December 2007, since then it has generated its own income and continued to employ people on the project, currently three members of staff are employed. 

The bike recycling project is being run as part of the Thetford Healthy Town project and will be open to the public in January 2010 providing recycled and refurbished bikes to the general public with the aim to encourage increased use of bikes both for work and pleasure.
