Keystone Positive Activities

Providing student-led support with positive outcomes

Positive Activities are career-focused sessions for 13-16 year olds that build on the activities from the monthly A*spire sessions.

Sessions are aimed at supporting and equipping students identified as having the potential to become NEET (Not in Education Employment or Training), and provide intensive support to make the transition to apprenticeships, further education or employment with training.

Sessions provide opportunities for young people to gain work experience and earn certification in areas such as food hygiene, first aid and hospitality and catering.

UPCOMING POSITIVE ACTIVITIES:

29th March – 19th April: Bike repair workshops

26th April – 17th May: Youth Cafe

24th May – 14th June: Boxing and fitness

21st June – 12th July: The Arts; drama, design and music.

Sessions are held for 13-16 year olds on Wednesdays 4 – 6pm from at the Abbey Neighbourhood Centre.

All young people must have a parental consent form to participate in activities. Forms can be picked up from the Abbey Neighbourhood Centre.
