Keystone Trustees are appointed by a full recruitment process.  The Chair is appointed by the Trustees.

As well as the Main Board which meets 6 times a year, the Trust also has ‘sub groups’ which focus on special interests of Properties, Finance, Communities and Health and Safety. This sub groups are chaired by different Trustees and comprise of operational staff, and in the case of the Communities Sub Group, community representatives.

Chief Executive: Dr Louise Humphries

Louise joined the Trust in November 2015 and has facilitated a total restructure of the organisation.

Gaining a PhD at Cranfield School of Management Louise joined one of the companies she had used as a case study in her research. A recently privatised utility company Louise was based in the Central Team looking for opportunities within the core business to pull out services in order to become profit making subsidaries.  Louise returned to Cranfield to do a Post-Doc in emerging markets research with ICI. This lead to other consultancy work. Moving to Norfolk she became involved in local NGOs – initially working at WEETU supporting women entrepreneurs to thrive through peer support and lending. She also developed and ran a European Funded Women’s Development Programme – WPCD – and undertook private work supporting companies to become more inclusive. Prior to joining Keystone, Louise ran GYROS, a rights based migrant support and cohesion organisation.

Trustee: Clive Wadham-Smith

Clive Whadham-SmithClive is an experienced  solicitor who divides his time between his legal practice which is  in the fields of company and charity  law and commercial property law and various non executive positions with  SMEs and charities.  This mix of work involves dealing with an assortment of legal and business issues in the private and public sectors and also the third sector.  As a solicitor he originally set up the Keystone company and has been involved with them  for many years, professionally , as a trustee and now joint chair.  Clive is also involved in various voluntary organisations in the village where he lives.

Trustee: Jerry Stone (Acting Chair)


Jerry is the former President and Chair of Norfolk Rugby. He is a Planning and Development Consultant and has a lot of experience in the voluntary sector. He currently Chairs Keystone’s ‘Communities’ sub-group.

Trustee: Brenda Canham

Brenda Canham

Brenda is a local community member who has built up a wealth of experience as a Board Member for Peddars Way Housing Association and the Flagship Housing Group, where she sits on both Governance and Resources Regional Sub Committees. She has taken a variety of training courses including ones in Chairmanship, Conducting Interviews, Finance and Governance.  Brenda also Chairs Keystone’s Heath and Safety Sub Group.


Trustee: Charles Watt


Charles is a very experience business person who has worked in many businesses and run a good many of his own. He built a very successful care home chain amongst others. Charles is an established philanthropist. He has a track record of work in the charitable sector and is the current High Sheriff of Norfolk.  Charles sits on the Keystone Finance subgroup with Ross.


Trustee: Dr Ross Vandiar


Ross  is one of our new trustees being appointed in 2019. Ross is a qualified and highly experienced accountant. He also has a PhD in Corporate Governance which bring excellent skills to the Board. Ross is also Chair of Keystone’s Finance Sub Group.

Trustee: Mark Robinson


Mark is our nominated Breckland Council representative on the Board. As well as a District Councillor he is also a Thetford Town Councillor.  Mark owns several businesses which are based at the Enterprise Factory on Brunel Way.  Mark organises and runs the T.A.R.A. awards – now it its fourth successful year – celebrating great work in Thetford.


 Trustee: Ryan Windsor

Ryan WindsorRyan Windsor is an entrepreneur and founder of UK based Windsor Capital Group and Windsor Properties specialising in property and financial investments. He received his PgDip from Cambridge University Judge Business School and BA Hons from University Campus Suffolk.

Ryan is a lecturer in Business Management and Enterprise Skills at West Suffolk College, and Mentor at The Thetford Academy and Social Incubator East.  Ryan also works internationally with Governments departments and NGOs on social innovation projects, participating and speaking at conferences and forums, with a particular emphasis on inspiring young people to become more enterprising and entrepreneurial.
