META Drop-in is a face to face information and support service staffed by

migrant workers to help mobile communities settle down quickly and effectively

META staff provide support in English, Portuguese, Polish,

Lithuanian,Russian, Czech and Slovak on:

Where to get help and advice in the UK;

Information about rights to live and work in the UK;

Welfare benefits ;

Housing;

Public services ;

Driving in the UK ;

Issues related to Consulates/Embassies;

Applying for National Insurance number;

Reading and writing letters;

Filling in forms;

Finding employment;

Enrolling in training courses;

Qualification Equivalency (NARIC);

Engaging in Volunteer Work;

Opening hours:

Monday - 10 am to 5 pm

Tuesday - Closed

Wednesday - Closed

Thursday - 10 am to 5 pm

Friday - 10 am to 5 pm

Launched by and delivered in partnership with Advice for Life, the META Hotline is  a telephone service providing information to migrant workers in the Eastern region

META Hotline provide information in the following languages: English, Portuguese, Polish, Lithuanian, Russian and Czech.
